Cantaetion announces today, March 2, 2020, that it is changing its name to Raccorde. The new name better reflects that we keep encountering people who have a hard time with the "ae" sound.
The new name is easier to pronounce and better relects our mission. Raccorde comes from the French raccorder, which means to join or link together. It's a little homage to our ancestral founding as part of the Franco-American graphic novel publisher Glyphcore that evokes the idea of linking things together, which is the kind of thing our work does. Neat!
That's #DC3333, which will form the basis of our new color pallette.
